Diamond Players academy offers youngsters chance to test skills on Probatter pitching simulator
News report about the local baseball academy Diamond players giving youngsters a chance to test their skills against the new Probatter pitching simulator. The system allows trainers and players to try different types of pitches at various speeds, reaching up to 100 mph. Add to that the life-like experience with the video of a real pitcher throwing the ball. The owner of the academy commented on the Mariners’ decision to not use the simulator, saying that they really need one.
