Cricket players’ perspective while using the ProBatter video simulator
Cricket Australia installed Probatter at Allan Border fields around 2010. The video shows what it is like to face the ProBatter simulator from the players’ perspective. The balls are being delivered at speeds similar to those of a bowling machine. The concept is that seeing a bowler run in prior to the ball release improves a batter’s pre-stroke routine when compared to a standard bowling machine.
