Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

ProBatter products.

What is the ProBatter Live Pitching Simulator?

The ProBatter Live Pitching Simulator is a computerized training system that combines a professional-grade pitching machine with synchronized, high-definition video of real pitchers. The ball is released through a hole in the projection screen at the exact moment the pitcher releases it on screen, creating the closest experience to facing live pitching.

How is ProBatter different from traditional pitching machines?

Traditional pitching machines feed balls mechanically, which removes the pitcher’s windup and disrupts timing. ProBatter restores true game timing by allowing hitters to track the pitcher from windup to release — training the critical “eye switch” that hitters rely on in real competition.

What pitches can ProBatter throw?

ProBatter can throw virtually every pitch a professional pitcher can throw, including:

  • Fastballs: 4-seam and 2-seam
  • Breaking Balls: Curveballs, Sliders, and Slurves
  • Off-speed: Changeups and Split-finger fastballs
  • Specialty: Cutters

Note: All pitches can be programmed by speed, location, and sequence.

Who uses ProBatter?

The system is trusted at every level of the game, including:

  • Major League Baseball players and teams
  • College and high school programs
  • Professional training facilities
  • Batting cage owners
  • Youth development academies
  • Cricket training programs

Can ProBatter integrate with performance tracking systems?

Yes. ProBatter integrates with leading analytics platforms such as HitTrax and Rapsodo, allowing players and coaches to track performance data and measure progress.

Is ProBatter reliable for high-volume commercial use?

Absolutely. ProBatter systems are engineered for durability, accuracy, and repeatability. Many batting cage owners report significantly higher usage and revenue compared to traditional machines.
